What a commission does not buy
It does not buy a recommendation. We are not paid by manufacturers to review or feature their products, and no company gets to see an article before it is published or to request changes after. When a product is the wrong choice for most readers, we say so, whether or not there is a commission attached to it.
Where several products in a comparison carry affiliate links, our ranking is not influenced by which one pays more. Where the best option carries no commission at all, we still recommend it.
