Gears of War: E-Day Arrives on GeForce NOW With RTX 5080 Performance

Gears of War: E-Day Lands on Cloud Streaming

NVIDIA has added Gears of War: E-Day to the GeForce NOW library following its global release on Tuesday, October 6, 2026. The title is available to stream on low-power laptops, Macs, mobile devices, handhelds, and web browsers without requiring local hardware upgrades.

Set 14 years before the original game, the prequel follows Marcus Fenix and Dom Santiago as they face the Locust Horde on Emergence Day. Ultimate tier subscribers can stream the title using GeForce RTX 5080-class cloud performance, along with NVIDIA DLSS and NVIDIA Reflex technologies.

Amazon Fire TV Purchasing and New Additions

NVIDIA announced that Fire TV users will soon be able to purchase GeForce NOW memberships directly through Amazon. This upcoming feature aims to streamline the setup process for living room streaming, with availability scheduled for the coming weeks.

Alongside the flagship release, the platform added a total of ten games this week. Seven of the titles are brand-new releases, including STAR WARS: Galactic Racer, Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival, Forever Ago, Order of the Sinking Star, Silver Pines, Permafrost, and Graveyard Keeper 2 (Steam), alongside Solasta II and Tyr.

Platform Limitations and Availability Notes

NVIDIA noted that the Xbox version of Dune: Awakening did not launch on GeForce NOW in September as originally planned, with future availability updates to follow. Additionally, individual game onboarding can vary throughout the week following initial storefront releases.

Users interested in trying the service can purchase a day pass for short-term testing. NVIDIA confirms that the cost of an initial day pass can be applied toward a first monthly membership subscription.
